This month bought a whole array of new top quality vocal tracks that I had to get laid down in a
set.  I picked all of these tracks based on the lyrics used as I feel they are all within the
same sombre/lonesome theme, although I'm not trying to depress you!  It does finish on one hell
of a high.

Opening with a dub remix of Dreams by Sirens,  although there are some lyrics still in this dub
remix I thought the original version was a little too Housey for this series, but still well
worth the listen, so make sure you check it out.

The mood of this mix starts off on a high and then slowly descends into a more sombre feeling
before taking you back up to peak at the end.  The most sombre track would have to be Universal
Language by Fred Numf, the vocals are somewhat haunting but have a strong message in them so
make sure you give them a good listen to.

My favourite tracks in the mix will have to be Spinning by Bobina, one artist that is just
going from strength to strength with a really unique flavour and quality productions.  And also
Surrender by Milo.nl & CJ Stone, this track's slowly becoming one of my favourite, it's uplifting
but also extremely emotional and sombre at the same time, quite hard to describe, a very Epic
track.

It's been a while since my last house mix 'Shine', so I thought I'd best get busy!  I named this
mix Traverse, as in crossing from one side to another.  We all come to a point in our lives where
we have to make big decisions and ditch old habbits, this mix is for those occasions.

I've managed to get some top tracks for this mix, my favourite of which is track 6, Pulse by
Malexa.  Excellent lyrics, excellent vocals and a really uplifting rhythm to it.  The middle of
the mix sees the most uplifting tracks before edging toward progressive house.

Track 9 is an all time classic that everyone knows, but a'la House stylee.  A timeless track that
maintains all of its original qualities in so many genres.

So 13!  Unlucky for some hey?  Well strangely enough even though I'm not supersticious; I have
had plenty of bad luck trying to prepare this set and only managed to get it laid down
successfully the day before the show.  Problems with the computer sound card etc. yadda yadda!
But anyway!  This mix was recorded using an M-Audio MicroTrack 2 as opposed to my computer.
With any luck this will yield a better quality recording.

This months set uses a selection of tracks that I purchased to play at my brother-in-laws 30th
birthday.  The opening track is from 'Offer Nissim' featuring some really smooth lyrics by Maya.
It's been quite a while since I've heard a track from Offer Nissim and this one certainly doesn't
disappoint.

My favorite vocal track of the mix is number 2, Lange - Songless.  The vocals are just fantastic,
and the pad filled breakdowns give me goose bumps.  As for instrumental tracks that will have to
go to Signum for Any Given Moment, saved for the very end of the mix.

This month I'm bringing you yet another hour of the latest Trance productions from all over the
globe.  This time, topped and tailed with instrumental trance and packed with hot Vocal tracks.

The opening track by Airbase, sets a rather mellow start from my usual sets.  The melody is
classic and sublime, as you would expect from Airbase.  This leads onto the first vocal track of
the mix, 'These Shoulders' by 'Signal Runners, featuring vocals from 'Julie Thompson'.  The vocals
have a dark, haunting feel to them.

My favourite vocal of the mix is track 6, 'In and Out of Love' by 'Armin van Buuren'.  You wouldn't
expect anything but quality when it comes to vocal trance from Armin, this track is no exception
with vocals from 'Sharon', again with a more sinister feel to them.

Track 7 is also not to be missed, produced by my personal favourite UK Trance producer, Lange.
The vocals, are the perfect combination, of sexy and uplifting to produce a really feel-good
track.

My favourite instrumental of the mix is track 9, 'Tonight Is Forever' by 'DJ Eco & Martin Roth'.
Bundles of energy and a fantastic melody, lead nicely into the last track of the mix.

There is been a bit of a long delay in me publishing this one on my site for one reason or another
but a good few months back I was asked to do a guestmix for a Russian station called Radio SK.

Thus and so, this is the mix that I provided.

The track selection are all from the Progressive House pot and are all uplifting in mood.  As you
would expect from me there are plenty of vocals in this mix.  If you only usually hear down tempo
and moody progressive house sets then this one will be quite refreshing to you.

My favourite track in the mix will be track 4, 'Breathe Life' with vocals from Andrea Britton. I
just love the tempo and energy of the track, along with the vocals it's just fantastic and will
definitely stand the test of time for me.
